The school started in the year 2000, with 4 educators and 90 learners. Grade 8 was hosted at Siyathokoza Combined Primary school for the whole year (2000) as the school was still being built. The process was initiated by Mr Langa, Mr Mzululwini and Mr Mgadi, the founder of the institution.
The school held only 2 classrooms in 2001 for grade 8 and 9, then we were compelled to buy mobile classes from contributions donated from the community. The Local Traditional Affairs assisted with 5 additional classrooms. The first principal of the school was Mr Langa to date. The school presented the first lot of grade 12b learners in 2004 with 60% achievements. Currently the school has two department heads with 327 learners with a 92.8 % matric results. In the year 2009 the Department of Education built an Administration block, science Laboratory, General classrooms and toilets for boys, girls and staff. They also supplied us with 3 Prefab to accommodate the growing enrolment.
